I was surprised that even though DJBouche had put up countless remixes of Haruhi music on his site, no one seems to have bothered to blog about it. So I will instead, and I want to congratulate DJBouche on his great work. I hope he continues to make good music in the future.

冒険でしょでしょ? (Euro Mix) / (Off Vocal)
ハレ晴レユカイ (“Live” Arrangement Version) (MP3+MIDI set)
My favorites in this list are God knows… (Euro Mix), 冒険でしょでしょ?(Euro Mix) and 雪、無音、窓辺にて。(Program Hack Remix). Would like to see Nagato’s other song remixed though.
From Ramblings of DarkMirage:
I was browsing Kyo-ani’s official site when I came across these Official Haruhi cels on sale at Kyo-ani’s web store.
The cels are created from the original data used in the anime (which is pure CG) and limited to one per person. Each one comes in an album that protects the cel and an accompanying certificate is printed with your name, the episode number and the cut number. They are not mass produced and it takes about two months upon ordering to ship.
15,000 yen is a shit load of money, though. It’s also somewhat disappointing that my favourite scenes from “Live Alive” and “Yuuutsu VI” are not included. Still, it may be a good investment to buy one of these and keep it for a few years… <_ <
Can someone say eBay?
So Haruhi’s list says. The last thing on this list says “Homework”, you can imagine who came up with that.
Night prior to that last post…(A while ago, one of my friends was getting married, and his best man and I were planning the bachelor party. The best man asked me, “Who should we invite?” I said, “The groom, of course, and lots of strippers.” “Okay, who else?” “I’d stop there.”)
From Anime on My Mind:
Quoting the September 3rd issue of Newsweek, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, has become a national phenomenon, thanks to more than 2,000 related clips, including parodies, now available on Youtube.” (I’m pretty damn sure Haruhi isn’t popular because of YouTube, but I disgress.) Appendix: found a scan. They didn’t go bunny girl!?!
Biggest thing to note here, MSNBC. Why the hell do they mention Haruhi? Sounds like the phenomenon will come to our shores very very soon…

The splash page for the blog also has a few updates in terms of randomness and whatnot. Look for Nagato’s comments.

Best. Anime. Ever. Or almost. In any case the series is great, it’s gotten top sales for its DVD alone, and guess what? No one gave two shits about this before the second episode aired! I’ll admit, not even I knew about this series either.
In any case, during the course of its airing I was encouraged to go join Baka-Tsuki’s novel translation project and help them out with a bit of editing, checking around, moderating, and mostly image editing. Please check them out, and if you are a translator (preferably Japanese), your help is appreciated.
They’re also doing the Zero no Tsukaima novel translations as well; suffers the same problem as Suzumiya Haruhi’s reputation, but not as famous for some odd reason. Maybe it’s because J.C. Staff is animating this? Haruhi was animated by Kyoto Animation. Or maybe because Kyoto Animation is so faithful to their adaptations they’re masterpieces (and Kanon 2006 will probably be no exception either).
