Have you heard about Microsoft’s deal of getting hard drive-less people 20 gig refurbished drives for 20 dollars?
There was such a promotion last year, but it ended early this year. Honestly though, requiring proprietary hard drives is stupid; I liked Sony’s idea after they failed it with the PS2, and just said you could put any hard drive in.
