MGS4 Not Bilingual

This is according to the Kojima Productions Report by Ryan, Report #81. Random anime fan mailed in about it. Reason appears to be that the full space capacity of the Blu-Ray has been used up.

We still have three months to get them to change their minds before they print the discs though! Go and mail both Ryan and Kojima and get them to change their minds!

I heard report #81 and was disappointed to learn that English and Japanese voices cannot be together for the game. Is it possible that you could reconsider this option for the fans? I am sure that the Japanese would also be equally grateful if this option was available.

Nexon, how you make me laugh so hard

Looks like Mabinogi USA updated a couple of things. There are three new movies in the movie folder; one is an updated version of the opening movie. Okay, nothing special.

Another one is an entering dungeon video for tutorials. Okay, no biggie.

The third one is… a 1280×720 teaser trailer of Resident Evil: Degeneration.

Pre-Open Beta? More like whoosh

Mabinogi will be available for all Nexon.net users! February 23^rd - 24^thmarks the two-day period where the Fantasy Life will be open to everyone. Regrettably, characters created during this time will not transfer to Open Beta. This is a great opportunity for our users to learn more about Mabinogi and gain a headstart when Open Beta officially launches! Purpose of this Pre-Open Beta is to test the stability of our servers. To be honest, I think this Pre-Open Beta is not going to work out the way Nexon intended it. The reason’s that there is zero incentive for any player to join the beta in the first place, as:

It lasts only two days
Characters will not be transferred into open beta

In all honesty, Nexon should just skip straight away to open beta to ensure proper load testing, or give something that people can carry over into open beta. That way, Nexon can get the load testing that they’re hoping for.
