PA’s “The New Games Journalism”

Jeff Gerstmann, Executive Editor of GameSpot, lost his job over a review of Kane & Lynch. Read the entire story after the jump. If that link goes to “The Story of My Life”, go here.

EDIT: It turns out that Tim Tracy, one of the employees at GameSpot, has also left. My respect to him, and best wishes to what he finds out there.

EDIT 2: Greg Kasavin has also put in his two cents. Props to him. I know he’s off somewhere else other than GameSpot, so I’m sure he’ll be wanting this stuff to spread. 1UP has also staged a protest in front of the GameSpot building, respect to them.

Looking for translators again

Two weeks in a row, our translators have been busy, and it’s time to look for new ones for CLANNAD TV. If you are interested in helping fansub episodes (have to be available every Thursday approximately one hour after airtime), please leave a comment!

- stranger : errr... I meant do _NOT_ bad mouth akibado if you can't wait for them to process a manual order for you then ship it to you.
- stranger : I bought a number of games via akibado and they *do* deliver. Akibado do _NOT_ stock the items, they buy them for you and send them to you, it depends on how long it takes for them to receive the item locally. It taken them about 3 months to send Clannad to me (after sending them a reminder). They are slow, but they do deliver. Do bad mouth them if you don't understand how they work. If you are in a hurry then try someone else, Himeya, Paletweb or Eroge-europe

- stranger : system req, if your pc can run vista it can run clannad FV, otherwise, the recommended spec is P3 1GHz, 256mb, DVD drive, 10mb min installation or 5GB full installation, Win2k, XP or Vista, am not sure about win9x
